My pet and I really appreciate the care we received at your facility on emergency. Can we come here as General Practice clients?

If you were referred to VSSF by your regular veterinarian you may not become clients of the Animal Medical Center General Practice. If you do not have a regular veterinarian and you were not referred to VSSF by any other hospital we would be pleased to have you join our family of clients.

What is a pet emergency?

Some emergencies are very obvious like trauma, seizures or poisoning. Some are not so obvious. If you are at all uncomfortable with your pet's behavior and you are unsure what to do you should call your veterinarian right away. In the event your veterinarian is not available you may call Animal Emergency Critical Care 24 hours a day at 954-437-9630


Questions and Concerns


Our goal is to always keep you well informed about your pet's condition. We will discuss all options with you, including the advantages and disadvantages of each of them. We encourage any questions that you might have before deciding on a diagnostic or treatment plan.

Our hospital is staffed after hours (nights, weekends, and holidays) with admission staff, certified technicians, assistants, and emergency doctors. They have access to your pet's medical record. If you have concerns and feel that your pet is not doing well and requires evaluation, please know that you can come in at any time and feel comfortable with the level of care you will receive.
